We live in northern Vermont on 12 acres and see a lot of wildlife.
We never know when a moose, deer, or maybe geese or rabbits will come around to visit. The scenery in this part
of the country is to die for.
We have been raising collies for approximately 20 years, and we've
enjoyed every minute of it. There were some heartbreaks, like there is with almost everything else, but we always
kept going. My husband works many hours, so a lot of what I do here, I have to do by myself while he's working.
This is why sometimes the ears aren't perfect. Therefore, we don't have much time to show ( I coudn't do it all by myself
) but breed only with show quality.
Collies are so willing to be your friend, and a loyal one, too. No matter what happens during your day,
a collie will always make you smile, and make you so glad he's with you. It's a wonderful way to wake up in the
morning, and see a beautiful collie face looking at you, and waiting to be your best friend for another day.
I believe everyone should have a dog while they're growing up. They can teach you so much about love, and
relationships, and all the emotions that go with it. It's a learning experience that no one ever forgets, and neither one
of you are ever alone.
